Harbour Ball moment

As regular readers know, anything can happen in Harbour Ball (also known as the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League).

This past Wednesday, Team Black (Clouthier Custom Carpentry) had the bases loaded with none out against Team Yellow (All in One Septic and Excavating).

When a Team Black player hit a liner to centre, all the base runners were on the move. They however neglected to consider that the Team Yellow centrefielder actually is a very quick Harbour Baller, and he tracked the ball without issue. As the Team Black captain was shouting "Whoa, whoa, whoa" the baserunners apparently heard "Go, go, go".

After a couple of throws following the catch, Team Black fell victim to the Harbour Ball Triple Play. According to those on the deck enjoying refreshments post game, if the rules allowed for a quadruple play, that may have been possible!
