Joran Graham off to Europe after ISCs
Micksburg Twins pitcher Joran Graham has a busy few weeks ahead of him. Graham, along with fellow GOFLers Matt Greer and Gregg Garrity, will be joining the Bear Creek Express for the ISC World Tournament in Iowa starting August 14 for a week, as well as the Softball Canada Rawlings Grand Slam even in Saskatoon in early September.
In between, Graham will be playing in the Czech Republic at the European Super Cup IX tournament, August 23 to 28. He will suit up for the Horsholm Hurricanes from Denmark at the event. The Hurricanes are the defending champions.
Another past GOFLer, Kyle Jamieson (Stittsville 56ers) played fastball back in the day with a Danish team, as has current Manotick Brewer Adam Smith.
Best of luck to Joran in all three events - I am sure everyone in involved in fastball in our area is cheering for his success.
