Thursday night GOFL results

The Greater Ottawa Fastball League played three games on Thursday night.

In Shawville, the Quyon Flyers beat West Carleton Electric 8-1. Matt Greer had the pitching win and hit a home run for the Flyers. Steve Cavanagh took the loss.

The early game in Carp saw the return of Todd "Willy White Shoes" Wilson to the pitching circle for the Ottawa Valley As, as he earned the win in a 6-2 victory over Kars Aces. Kristian Knapp homered for the Aces.

The late Carp game had Adam Smith back on the slab for Manotick Brewers as he hurled a one hitter to lead his team to a 9-0 win over the As. Curt Scurr had a homer for the Brewers. Bryan Armstrong pitched for Valley.
