Harbour Ball finals are set

The finals are now set for the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League as Bren Electric will face Baird Carpentry in the best of three series.

Bren defeated West Carleton Electric U17 in three game semi-final. Wednesday night saw the continuation of game 2 which had been halted by rain last week in the sixth inning. Bren evened the series with a 8-6 win. 

Game 3 was played immediately after and Bren prevailed with a 10-7 win. Kevin Bisch and Brendan Coker hit homers for Bren while Conner Hopper hit one out for WC Electric U17.

Pitchers in the series were Adam Rueckwald and Mitchell Taylor for Bren while Blake Bramburger and Gabe Brown threw for WC Electric U17.

Game 1 of the finals is scheduled for Wednesday September 14 at 8 p.m.
