Big sixth inning for Twins results in win over Chiefs
A big sixth inning for the Micksburg Twins pushed them to a 9-3 victory over the Osgoode Chiefs in Thursday night Greater Ottawa Fastball League play in the Burg.
Noah Fleurie threw well for Micksburg, leaving the game when it was tied 3-3 in the top of the sixth. Joran Graham came in on relief and earned the victory. Matt McKay took the loss for Osgoode.
The Twins scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to earn the win in what was a tight game until then.
Jared Steege hit a solo homer for the Twins, who remain undefeated in GOFL league play.
