Brewers sweep DH

The Manotick Brewers won both games in a Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader in Manotick on Wednesday night over the Kars Aces.

The early game saw the Brewers edge the Aces 1-0. Luc D'Entremont, in his first game since June 2023, had the complete game shutout. Brad Porter took the loss.

The nightcap was tied 3-3 into the fifth but Manotick ended up coming away with a 12-3 win. Carley Shane earned the win. Daniel Read took the loss in relief of Cory Alkerton. Tyler Branchaud hit a grand slam for Manotick.
