Grandor wins game one

The Grandor Farms Logsplitters won game one of their Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League best of three semi-final series against Bren Electric 10-9 on Monday night.

Owen Brown and Gabe Brown pitched for Grandor while Mark Wright and Steve Cavanagh threw for the Electricians.

Hunter Beauregard had a home run for Bren.

Bren was up 6-0 and 8-2, but the Splitters clawed back to tie the game 9-9. The game winning run was a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to Owen Brown.

Hicks Custom Interiors face West Carleton Rona U17 in game one of the other semi-final tonight (Tuesday September 17) at 7 p.m.
