Los Caballos win Blackburn playoff title - now with details

Los Caballos won the Blackburn Men's Fastball League playoff double elimination playoff bracket, going undefeated by beating Goodfellows 5-1 on Tuesday night. This was the third straight year as champions for Los Caballos in the BMFL.

Will Lowe had the pitching win, throwing a four hitter. Shannon Borho took the loss.

Los Caballos got off to a 3-0 lead in the first. Luis Anguas lead off with a triple and Felipe Morales singled to score Anguas. Wilmer Lovera then doubled to score Morales, followed by an RBI single from Elvin Gómez.

There were no other runs scored until the sixth inning when the defending champs took a 5-0 lead. Fredyan Carpio tripled. A Gómez single scored Carpio, followed by an RBI double by Lowe.

In the seventh inning, Goodfellows scored the only run of the game on an RBI by Cam Martin.
