Harbour Ball first round playoff matchups set
First round matchups (best-of-three series) have been set for the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League after all seven teams have completed their 12 game regular season.
Ottawa Valley Coffee finished first with a 10W-2L record and will get the bye to the semi-finals. Adam Rueckwald and Cole Ross pitch for the Espressomen.
Second place Hicks Custom Interiors (Matt McIntyre, Blake Bramburger, Steve Cavanagh) had a 7W-5L record and will face seventh place Baird Carpentry (Jeff Campbell and Ethan Howard) at 3W-8L-1T.
Third place Clean Cut Construction (6W-5L-1T) play against Grandor Farms (4W-7L-1T). Shawn Ryan, Kevin Bisch and Johnny Coe throw for CCC while Ryley Burns, Ryland Hill and John Sullivan hurl for Grandor.
Fourth place Bren Electric (5W-6L-1T) will match up versus Campbell Contracting Logsplitters (5W-7L). Gabe Brown, Noah Fleurie and Mitch Taylor chuck for the Electricians and Owen Brown and Colton Lecuyer are on the slab for the Splitters.
Games will start next week with the schedule to be determined.
