Porter with a win at Legends

The International Softball Congress 50+ Legends tournament continues in North Mankato, Minnesota. 

Defending champions Cobourg Force has three wins with one round robin game to play on Friday morning.  They have only allowed one run against so far.

All Seasons Patriots of Allentown, Pennsylvania are also undefeated winning all four of their games so far. Former Greater Ottawa Fastball League player Dan Loney is in their line up.

Waterdown Hammer finished pool play with three wins and a loss. They defeated Bar Buzz of Wisconsin 8-1 on Wednesday then lost a close game to CR Brewers of British Columbia 5-4. Brad Porter threw for the Hammer against the Brewers, who walked it off in the bottom of the seventh with two out. Rob Schweyer, Trevor Ethier and Trevor McCabe all threw for CR. The Brewers finished the round robin 4-0.

The Hammer then beat local team Ostrander 14-2 before wrapping up with a 6-5 win over Texas Stars. Porter got the win in relief of Bill Carson.

Teams await their seedings for the playoff bracket games for Friday.
