Kingston one and one at ISC World Tournament

The Kingston Axemen, a team with many local players from Eastern Ontario, has a one win and one loss record at the International Softball Congress World Tournament in Chippewa of the Thames, ON so far after two days of play.

The Axemen defeated Peublo, CO Bandits 6-4 in their opener, with Joran Graham earning the win on the slab on Sunday evening.

Last night the Axemen fell to the host Bear Creek Express 11-0. Andy Barber had the start and threw very well against a top-level team, before giving way to Jordan Macdonald who finished the game.

Next up for Kingston is a game on Tuesday at 11 a.m. vs the Walton, ON Brewers.
