Logsplitters advance to Harbour Ball semi-finals

The Bren Electric Logsplitters won 8-6 on Monday night to take their first round series two games to one against Grandor Farms in Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League playoffs.

The Farmers overcame a 6-0 deficit to tie the game at six after six complete. The Splitters put up two in the top of seven and Grandor could not respond.

Gabe Brown and Owen Brown pitched for Bren while Ryley Burns and Ryland Hill threw for Grandor. Ryan Conners hit a large solo homer for the Farmers.

The Splitters advance to the best-of-three semi-finals which begin Wednesday at 9 p.m.

The 7 p.m. game that night will be Game 3 of Ottawa Valley Coffee vs. Baird Carpentry series. If OVC wins that game, they will face Hicks Custom Interiors and Bren will play Gagnon Plumbing, both games at 9 p.m. that night. If Baird wins, they will play Gagnon, and Bren gets HCI at 9 p.m.
