Men's Canadians playoff round begins

The playoff round for the Softball Canada Men's Canadian Championship begins today in Saskatoon. 

Eight of the 13 teams participating advanced to the playoff round.

Four teams have a double life:

East Hants (NS) Mastodons 

Sooke (BC) Loggers

Bear Creek (ON) Express 

Toronto (ON) Batmen

Four teams have a single life:

Saskatoon (SK) Jacks

Earl Grey (SK) Rockets 

Newfoundland Galway Hitmen

Saskatoon (SK) Merchants

The Waterdown (ON) Hammer missed out on advancing to the playoff round by one run in the plus minus tie breaker.

The bracket schedule is posted online. Game times were changed to avoid bad weather predicted on Sunday with only two games now on August 30th.
