Ontario, Québec undefeated at Canada Games
After a day of delay due to rain, the Canada Games Men's Softball got underway today in St. John's, NL.
Team Ontario won both their games - 17-2 against New Brunswick and 10-3 versus Nova Scotia. Conner Hopper of West Carleton Electric had a grand slam in the game vs NB.
Team Québec also had a successful day at the diamond, winning three games - 11-0 over Newfoundland and Labrador, 8-1 over Manitoba and a tight 7-6 comeback win over Saskatchewan. Cade Kuehl had a bases loaded 3 RBI double for TQ vs Sask.
The teams play each other at 3:30 p.m local time, 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
