Manotick wins game three

The Manotick Brewers won game three of their Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff series with the Quyon Flyers by a score of 6-1 on Shawville on Thursday night.

Luc D'Entremont got the complete game win, allowing only four hits. Drew Hathway took the loss.

The teams traded solo homers early on - Adam Roth for Manotick and Shawn Laframboise from Quyon.

With the game tied 1-1 after six complete, the visitors put up five runs in the top of the seventh.

Tyler Branchaud walked and Jack Becker singled. After a pop out and a ground out, the Flyers elected to intentionally walk Roth to load the bases. Zach Branchaud singled to drive in two, followed by a two RBI double by Trevor Beaulieu and an RBI single by Ty Alexander.

With the win, the Brewers advance to the GOFL semi-finals against the Micksburg Twins.
