Shawville League playoffs

The Shawville Men's Fastpitch League playoffs on Monday resulted in one team being eliminated and another advancing to the finals. 

In the winner-winner game, the Royals beat the Athletics 8-3 to advance to the Final. Adam Rueckwald had the win while Luke Young took the loss.

The loser-loser game saw the Scrappers win 8-1 over the Pontiac Juniors to eliminate Pontiac. Todd Hearty and Darryl Crawford pitched for the Scrappers while Gibson Lang was on the slab for the young guys.

The Scrappers will play the Athletics in the semi-final on Monday.
