I4C defeats WC Electric

Carp I4C Victory defeated WC Electric in Fitzroy Harbour last night by a score of 6-3.

Neil Cooke pitched a complete game for the Victory scattering four hits over seven innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out 13. Cooke got the win, his first of the season (1-0), while Mark Wright took the loss for Fitzroy Harbour, allowing 6 runs. Bud Hanlon relieved in the third and was later relieved by Brad Porter in the sixth.

Pete Petit lead the offensive attack for Carp, going 2-4 with a triple and a three run homer, 4 RBIs. Adam Brown had two RBIs for Fitzroy.
