John Peck had an RBI single driving in his brother Randy. Later in the fourth inning, Daryl Buttar drove in two with a double and subsequently scored on a Pat O’Connor single. Scott Herriot and Randy Peck both hit solo homers in the fifth to give Easton the 6-0 win in five innings. Ottawa Team Easton Thunder wins the Eastern Ontario qualifier over Micksburg for the second year in a row and accepts the berth to the Tournament of Champions. Micksburg finishes second and was offered a berth to Kitchener as well, which they have indicated they will accept.
