Stittsville 2-0 winner over Fitzroy Harbour WC Electric
Stittsville defeated WC Electric 2-0 at the Grove on Wednesday night.
Dan Bradley got the win, throwing seven complete innings, scattering 5 hits and striking out 12.
Brad Porter took the loss, allowing only one run on six hits and striking out 6 over four innings. Big Bud Hanlon finished the game throwing two innings and allowing only one hit and one unearned run, striking out one.
Darren Featherstone was the offensive force for Stittsville, going 3 for 3 at the plate, driving in both Stittsville runs. Dan Jessiman scored both runs for Stittsville.
Michael Cavanagh had two hits for the Electric.
Both teams have had trouble scoring runs of late. Despite being 2-1-1 in their last four games, the WC Electric have only scored 4 runs. Over the same stretch, Stittsville is 2-2 and has also only scored 4 runs in their last four games.
