Blackburn tournament cancelled?
Word is that the Blackburn tournament is cancelled due to not enough teams. A real shame, the Bombers put on a good event. Hopefully it will be back for 2007.

Hello everyone,
I have to regretfully inform everyone that the Blackburn Cash tournament scheduled for July 7-9 has to be cancelled due to lack of teams. At one point, I was hopeful that we were going to get 12 teams as there seemed to be lots of interest early on. But that seemed to fizzle as the date got closer and last week when Fitzroy, Micksburg and Newboro all said they could not attend, I knew that this may have to happen but we were going to try with 7 teams attempting to find an 8th. Then today I got an email from Navan and they said that they were going to have to withdraw and I knew that we couldn't financially run a tournament with just 6 teams.
Thanks again for the interest from everyone but there is nothing more that i can do.
Hope everyone can make it if we attempt to run another tournament next season.
