Easton defeat I4C 6-0 on Wednesday

Team Easton defeated Carp I4C Victory 6-0 in GOFL play on Wednesday night in Stittsville.
Dave Tubman led off with a walk, advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch then advanced to 3rd on a infield single by Cory Morrison and scored on the throw to second in an attempt to catch Morrison stealing.
Easton added 3 more in the second as Pat O'Connor singled, Scott Marion was HBP. Lukas Kamps hit into a fielder's choice erasing O'Connor at 3rd. Then Dave Tubman hit a 3-run shot over the right-center field fence.
Easton would round out the scoring in the bottom of the 5th after I4C retired the first two batters Morrison doubled to the gap in left-center and Randy Peck homered. I4C conceded to the mercy rule.
Dan Konkle had the win for Easton, while Trevor Wood took the loss.
