Carp ties Manotick - Tony's Version

from Tony Riches

Carp I4C Victory scored 4 runs in the sixth inning to pull out a 5-5 tie with Manotick Lomor Printers in GOFL play Wednesday.

Adam Bickell`s RBI single followed Rich Antunes 2 RBI knock to stake the Printers to a 3-0 lead after 2 innings but I4C`s Peter Pettit stroked a double and later scored on a groundout by Kyle Gourgon to narrow the gap in the third. Manotick widened the lead to 5-1 on RBI singles by Bickell and Don Cox in the bottom of the fourth inning. Neil Cooke replaced Trevor Wood on the mound for I4C and managed to escape a bases loaded jam to stop the rally.
