Stittsville over Carp 10-3

Stittsville 56ers defeated Carp I4C Victory by a score of 10-3 on Thursday night in Carp.
Four home runs by the 56ers; Ryan Bond 2 run HR, Dan Jessiman, 2 run HR, Sam Oliver 2 run HR, Darren Featherstone, solo shot.
Paul Ceppi returned from his hip injury and pitched into the fourth inning. Trevor Wood came on in relief and pitched the rest of the 4th and all of the 5th.
Dan Bradley went the distance for Stittsville.
Carp started the game with only 8 players. Mike Money arrived late not expecting to play (doctor’s orders – he just switched to new asthma medication and is having dizzy spells) and played OF and batted 9th from the 2nd inning on.
