Kitchener wins ISC World Tournament Final

Kitchener vs. Saskatoon....two Canadian teams in the World Final. Crowd looks a bit sparse on the webcast, probably due to the match up and the delays due to rain.

I watched the last couple of innings on the webcast. Saskatoon was up 3-0, with Dean Holoien throwing. Frank Cox throwing for Kitchener, in relief of Todd Martin.

The wheels fell off though for Sask, as Kitchener hit four homers, scoring 5 runs, with a further insurance run, in the top of the sixth and seventh innings to go up 6-3. Trevor Either came in to relieve Holoein.

Cox then blew a knee in the bottom of the seventh, and Martin had to re-enter but held on for the 6-3 win.
