UOVMFL playoff update

Micksburg Juniors beat Douglas 6-2 in the play-in game. Cody Coughlin hit a three-run home run. Joran Graham also had a solo home run.

Game one of the semi-final series between the Micksburg Juniors and Shawville Snappers was played Sunday evening in Micksburg. Micksburg won 3-2. Joran Graham had a two-run home run for the Twins and was the winning pitcher. Matt Greer pitched for the Snappers. Down 3-1 in the seventh inning, Shawville scored once and had runners on second and third with two out. On a wild pitch, Curtis Daley tried to advance home but was stopped by the Micksburg catcher blocking the plate and preventing the score.

Note: the other semifinal is McNab vs Micksburg Seniors and that series gets underway Friday.
