Quyon COMBAT Flyers won their second game at the Tournament of Champions in Illinois/Iowa, a 7-6 victory over the #17 Lloydminister Dodgers from Alberta to go to 2-0. That's 17 runs in two games for the Flyers.
Chad Hargrove had the pitching win. Matt Greer hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to win the game.
Next up for Quyon (ranked #27) is a game against #12 Rude Pac from Sun Valley, California at noon Eastern tomorrow (Wednesday). That game will be on http://www.ballparkradio.com/.
Team Easton's (ranked #2) next game is 4pm Eastern Wednesday the #31 USA Maccabi team.
Donnacona (ranked #23) might as well get into the pints heavy tonight - they don't play again until 10pm Eastern on Wednesday and they face the host from Walcott, Iowa, an unranked team. For more on Donnacona's first game 5-2 victory over CPI see the ToC site. Francis Leclair had the win and helped his cause with 2 RBIs.
