GOFL playoff update
Game 4 of the GOFL semi-finals will take place Tuesday night (Sep 15) in Quyon at 8pm as Team Easton, down 2-1 in the series, will try to force Game 5 in the best-of-five series.
Quyon will be without catcher and leader Joe McCleary who required surgery after being injured in a car accident on Saturday night. Big Joe is recovering in the Hull Hospital and will be okay, but will be unable to play ball in the near future.
If Easton wins, the deciding Game 5 will be played in Carp on Wednesday Sep 16 at 8pm, as the Grove is unavailable.
If Quyon wins the series to make the finals for the first time in their history, Game 1 of the series will be played in Carp on Wednesday Sep 16 at 8pm against the defending champs, the Stittsville 56ers.
