Quyon evens final series with Stittsville

The best of five Greater Ottawa Fastball League final series is even at one game each now as the Quyon COMBAT Flyers edged out a 4-3 win over the Stittsville 56ers in Quyon on Thursday night.

Drew Hathway had the win on the slab while Dan Bradley took the loss in relief of Darren Featherstone.

Quyon got out to an early 4-0 lead and held on for the win.

Matt Greer had a two run homer for Quyon. Steve McCord and Nick Armitage had the other RBIs for the Flyers.

Scott Jessiman and Dan Bradley batted in runs for Stittsville. The other run for the 56ers came on a throwing error on a double steal on which Dan Jessiman scored.
