Kars avenged their only loss of the year with a 9-0 victory over the Broadway Blues last night in North Gower.

Brad Porter got the win tossing a 1 hitter while striking out 12. Trevor Lahey took the loss.

Kars opened the scoring in the bottom of 1 as Kristian Knapp singled, stole second, advanced to 3rd on an error and scored on Cory Morrison's ground out.

The home side added 6 more in the 3rd when Kevin Chevrier singled, Kristian Knapp singled, Brad Pender reached on a fielder's choice, Dave Tubman walked to score Chevrier, Cory Morrison singled to score Knapp and Pender, Curtis Summers doubled to score Tubman and Morrison, then Lukas Kamps singled to score Summers.

The Aces rounded out the scoring in the 4th when Dave Tubman walked and scored on Cory Morrison's double then Morrison later scored on a throwing error to first.
