Tourney results

Kars (listed as Easton) won the Peterborough tournament with an undefeated record.

Donnacona (with some players from the Quyon Flyers) won the AuSable Tournament.

Hill United won the Lackawanna, NY tourament. They beat the New York Bombers in the final, who lost early and came up the losers' side. Teams from New York, Pennsylvannia and Ohio in attendance, with lots of Ontario pitchers. Some good throwers in this tournament included Greg Garrity & Shaun Winship (Big John's host team), Mike Joseph (Hill United), Jeff van Hooser (Ashland), Barry van Hooser (Reese's local team) and Ryan Cummings.

In the Junior Elims, Owen Sound defeated Napanee in the finals to take the title. Local players from the GOFL were playing for teams in Napanee, Fingal, Smiths Falls and Brantford in this tournament. Top four teams get a berth in the Canadians, so Joran Graham and Napanee will have a spot. Fingal (Chad Hargrove, Cory Alkerton, Kristian Knapp, Joel Langford) finished fifth and just missed a berth.
