Kars wins 6-1 over North Gower in GOFL playoffs

Kars won their quarterfinal series with a 6-1 victory in North Gower on Tuesday night.
Brad Porter got the win while Shannon Borho took the loss. Cory Morrison and Matt Alkerton had 2Rbi's for Kars while Kevin Chevrier was 2/3. Eric Sanchez had an Rbi single for the Marlies.
The Aces now join Carp in the semi-final round with their opponents to be determined based on the other two series to be completed.
Stittsville will try to clinch their series in Manotick tonight at 8pm as they face Barrhaven up 1-0.
Quyon and Fitzroy Harbour will play game 2 of their series on Monday when the Flyers are back from Michigan, with Quyon a game up.
