In Manotick, the Barrhaven Broadway Blues scored a 13-3 win over the Ottawa Blitz. Trevor Lahey got the win over four innings and Chad Hargrove saw action in relief. Shannon Borho took the loss the Blitzos, and had relief from Derick Bulley. Hargrove had two triples and a homer, Lindsay Medynski had three hits and Joe Allan also had a HR for the Blues. Jamie Blakely had two hits and two runs batted in for the Blitz.
Quyon 9 Stittsville 0
The game in Stittsville saw the 56ers fall 9-0 to the Quyon Combat Flyers in six innings. Drew Hathway had the win with a one-hitter, walking two and striking out 11. Darren Featherstone took the loss allowing 8 hits, walking 8 and striking out 8. Moe Laframboise hit a grand slam for the Flyers, while Ryan Bond had the lone hit for the 56ers.
