Caveman in the huddle

It was a big sports day in Fitzroy. In addition to a little bit of NHL playoffs on TV, the boys were outside enjoying the nice weather and playing various sports: some road hockey, a little fastball pitching practice so Coach Jamey doesn't get upset, some basketball and some touch football.

The touch football game involved myself, Caveman, Fitzroy Junior, Mrs Fastball, and neighbourhood kids Arnold and the two "lovely ladies" from next door.

Caveman and the seven year old girl from next door were on my team. As we went into the huddle shortly into the game to discuss our next play, I was about to suggest a short pass to Caveman when he interupted:

"Guys, guys, just a sec guys."
"Yes Caveman?"
"Just to let you know, I am NOT wearing underwear."
