Successful Fundraiser for Chris Hall
The Kars Aces hosted Carp I4C Victory in an exhibition game on Friday night in North Augusta to support Chris Hall who was in a bad accident last year. Chris is making a recovery and the game helped raise some funds to assist.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make the fundraising game for Chris Hall on Friday night such a success! For the game itself, the final score was a 5-1 victory for Carp. Neil Cooke was the winning pitcher with relief from Matt McNish while Cory Alkerton started for Kars and had relief from Joran Graham.
The event was very well attended and supported by many local friends, family and softball fans as the stands were full! A 50/50 draw was also held, and the winner graciously donated the money back to Chris as well, so we would just like to thank all of those who volunteered, attended, donated and helped in so many ways.
Special mention to the following: the Carp I4C team, including the 'pick-ups' who helped complete their roster for the game, the umpires, Gary Lamer and son Brandon, Brittany Graham and Jess Ireland for selling 50/50 tickets, the gentleman who donated his 50/50 winnings back, Mrs. Sue Alkerton for photographing the event, Lyle Lawrence for looking after collecting the donations, Amy and Chris Finucan for donating and preparing the diamond and lights, and Matt Alkerton for his work in helping to organize the event as well. Below is a photo off the players and umpires with Chris following the game.
