GOFL games postponed tonight

The GOFL games on the schedule are both postponed tonight, albeit for different reasons.

Carp I4C Victory was to face the Micksburg Twins tonight, but the Victory have player / pitching issues. This game has tentatively been rescheduled to Thursday June 20.

In what is a league first, the game in Quyon has been "flooded out". West Carleton Electric were to take the short boat ride over to face the Flyers, but the water has been very high in the Ottawa River lately. At one point less that two weeks ago, pretty much all of the smaller diamond was underwater and most of right field on the main diamond was submerged. While the floodwaters have receded, the field has been determined to be still too soggy to play ball so the game had to be postponed. No date has been set yet for the make up.
