Wednesday night round up in the GOFL

Three games were played on Wednesday night in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League.

Thanks to Rosey, Spud, Marcel and Newf for the info.

Carp 4 Stittsville 2
I4C Victory scored four in the top of the seventh to defeat the 56ers. Neil Cooke had the win for Carp while Darren Featherstone, who had a solo homer for Stittsville, took the loss. Kevin McGuire continued his hot streak and earned the Caveman's Choice with a 3 for 3 night (with a walk).

Kars 6 Blitz 2
The Aces won the early game in Manotick over Taylor's Blitz 6-2. Cory Alkerton had the win for Kars, Shannon Borho took the loss and had relief from Derick Bulley. Kars hit four home runs: Cory Alkerton had two, and Chad Milne and Danny Powers also had dingers.  Alkerton takes the Caveman's Choice in this one.

Barrhaven 4 Kars 3
The Blues got back on the winning track with a win over the Aces in the late game in Manotick. Trevor Lahey had the win, in relief of Jason Smith. Brad Porter took the loss for Kars, without giving up an earned run. Trevor "Newf" Power, who actually has a fan in the Caveman, ("He's the guy with the Power, Daddy!") earned the selection as player of the game going 2 for 3 and driving the game winning run.
