Quyon Flyers and I4C Victory split doubleheader in Manotick

The Quyon Flyers and I4C Victory split a Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader in Manotick on Wednesday night.

In the opener, the Flyers jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but a home team comeback culminated in a 6-5 win with a bottom of the seventh walk off hit by Curtis Scurr to win the game for I4C. Neil Cooke earned the win in relief of Andrew Putnam, while Trevor Lahey was tagged with the loss.

The night cap saw the Flyers prevail with a 8-5 win, coming back after I4C Victory staked out a 5-1 lead in the game. Matt Greer was the winning pitcher, Neil Cooke took the loss.
