Eastern Ontario teams to compete at the Squirt Provincials (UPDATED)
There are 23 teams competing in Ontario Amateur Softball Association provincial tournaments for Squirt boys (U12) softball this weekend.
The "A" tournament will be held in Springbrook, with the Westport Storm competing. (Westport went 1-2)
The "B" tournament is in Cobourg, and will feature teams from Greely, Micksburg and the Caveman's West Carleton squad. (Greely and Micksburg went 0-2. West Carleton went 1-2, including a heart-breaker 3-2 loss to Owen Sound where it was the Caveman vs Frank Cox's son in a pitching duel.)
The "C" tournament is also in Cobourg and has Laurentian Valley (near Pembroke) participating. (LV went 2-2.)
