Micksburg and I4C Victory split doubleheader
The Micksburg Twins and I4C Victory split their Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader on Thursday night up in the 'Burg.
In the first game, it was all I4C, as they defeated the Twins 14-1 in five innings. Neil Cooke had the win. Veteran lefty Lenny Burger took the loss with relief from rookie John Enright and Corey Costello. Chris MacFarlane and Matt McNish had homeruns for Victory.
The second match saw the Twins walk it off with a 6-5 win in the bottom of the seventh courtesy of a clutch hit from Scott Conroy. Burger picked up the win in this one, in relief of Costello. McNish took the loss. MacFarlane had another homer in this game.
