Quebec Juniors to play Shawville, Micksburg this weekend

The Quebec Junior Men's Fastpitch team will be travelling to West Quebec and Eastern Ontario this upcoming weekend (June 9-10) to take on teams from Shawville, Quebec and Micksburg, Ontario. 

The Quebec Juniors, hosts of the Softball Canada U23 national championship this August, are led by Jean-Yves Doucet who is also a member of the Junior Men's Team Canada coaching staff.

Games and times are as follows:

• Saturday June 9th in Shawville at the Elwood Dale Park at 10AM and 12PM
• Sunday June 10th in Downtown Micksburg at 11AM and 1PM

Former athletes to be honoured

The Shawville Men's team will be wearing memorial jerseys donated by Ralph Horner to the Shawville Recreation Association. Former athletes who have been honoured and remembered are:
