Ashton League update

from Eric Rosequist

The four-team Ashton Men's Fastball League wrapped up its regular season this past week; playoffs begin on Thursday. Playoffs this year are using a curling-style page playoff format where the top 2 teams get a double life to reach the A final.

The NAPA Shockers and the Ashton Farmers finished the regular season in first and second place respectively. They're scheduled to play at 9PM on Thursday with the winner advancing to the best of three A final the following week.

In the 7PM game on Thursday, third place Lee Plumbing takes on the fourth place Ashton A's. The loser of that game goes to the B final.

The loser of the Shockers / Farmers game will play the winner of the Lee Plumbing / A's game the following Tuesday. The winner of the Tuesday game advances to the A final and the loser to the B.

All games take place at the ball diamond at Ashton Park just off Flewellyn Rd.
