Elkland Durk Sherman Classic features 11 teams
The Durk Sherman Classic men's fastpitch tournament will feature 11 teams this year over Labour Day long weekend in Elkland, PA.
Three eastern Ontario teams are making the trip: West Carleton Electric will be attending for the 12 straight year. The Greenbush Generals, led by Terry McCann in his 39th straight trip to the event, will once again be playing. Also, the Party Lake team from the Kingston area will be attending - they were at the Gil Read Memorial event in 2017.
The year's event also involves the Team USA Futures team - info here.
The teams each play in a round robin to determine seeding. Then, bracket play on Sunday and Monday to determine a winner, with the top four teams getting a double life and single lives for all other clubs.
