Brewers edge Bucks 1-0 in Shawville playoffs

In Shawville Men's Fastpitch League playoffs on Thursday night the first seed Trudeau Collision Brewers got by the fourth seed Gannon / Blackburn Electric Bucks by a score of 1-0.

This was a pitchers duel. Joran Graham of the Brewers earned the win with a no-hitter, 20 strikeouts, and allowing only one walk. Gregg Garrity of the Bucks took the loss, allowing only one hit, striking out 15 and walking three.

The Brewers scored the game's only run in the bottom of the sixth. With one out, lead off hitter Joseph Mick got the only hit of the match, a single up the middle. Then, with two out, Joran Graham walked for the third time in the game to put two on. Jeff Tanguay the runner in for Mick on the two out catcher rule scored on misplayed ball up the first baseline, hit by Ryley Burns.

Next games will see the Brewers play the winner of tonight's Twins vs. Athletics match up, while the Bucks play the loser.
