North Leeds Finals start Thursday

The North Leeds Finals start Thursday with the Lyn Lightning playing the North Augusta Trappers.
Lyn swept Eastons Corners A's in the best of three Putnam Division series to advance to finals.
Lyn jumped to an early 4-0 lead and had a 6-1 lead after two innings. The A’s came back to make it 7-6 in the fifth but sixth inning home runs from Andrew Fortier and Travis Wings put the game out of reach for a 10-6 final. Carley Shane had his 2nd win of the series throwing the complete game and striking out nine. Jeremy Malloy had the loss throwing six innings. Andrew Wiggins had a scoreless inning of relief.
The Dale Kingston Divisional Series of North Augusta and Spencerville wrapped up September 14th with a 9-7 Trappers win. Danny Powers and Cory Alkerton had home runs for North Augusta while Brad Marion swatted two in a losing effort.
Finals begin 8 p.m. in North Augusta on Thursday September 16th. Game 2 is in Lyn on Tuesday September 21st.
