Manotick sweeps doubleheader

The Manotick Brewers won both games of a Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader in Osgoode on Monday night over the hometown Chiefs.

The first game saw the Brewers beat the Chiefs 7-3. Luc D'Entremont earned the win while Cory Baldwin took the loss. D'Entremont also hit a homer for Manotick.

The late game was a 4-1 win for the visitors. Adam Smith was the winning pitcher while Baldwin took the loss with relief from Austin Blanchard and Bobby Dewan. Tyler Branchaud hit a home run for the Brewers.
