Manotick wins game one, D'Entremont throws no hitter

The Manotick Brewers won game one of the best of three Greater Ottawa Fastball League East division semi-final with a 2-0 victory over the Kars Aces on Wednesday night in Manotick.

Luc D'Entremont had the win, tossing a no-hitter, striking out ten. He was a hit batsmen away from a perfect game. Brad Porter threw well while taking the loss allowing only five hits.

The Brewers scored their first run when Tyler Branchaud singled, advanced to third on a hit by Chris MacFarlane and subsequently scored on a wild pitch.

Manotick's second run came after Spencer Lee singled and scored on a Ty Alexander triple.

Game two in the series will be played Wednesday September 14 at 8 p.m. in Manotick.
