Chiefs, Aces win in Manotick
The Osgoode Chiefs win the first game and the Kars Aces the second in Manotick in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Wednesday.
The Chiefs got by the Aces by a score of 4-3 in the first game. Matt McKay earned the win while Kurtis Summers took the loss with relief from Cory Alkerton. Summers also hit a homer for the Aces.
The late game saw the Aces beat West Carleton Electric 8-5. Alkerton earned the win with Brad Porter getting the save. Ben Broek took the loss for WC. Kars shortstop Kristian Knapp hit two homers - one over the fence and one gapper inside the park. Summers also hit another one out for Kars. Conner Hopper hit an inside the parker for WC.
