Mike Craig (updated with obituary)

Mike Craig, a former fastball player in the area, died yesterday. Mike played for Macton Muckdogs in what was the precursor to the precursor to the Greater Ottawa Fastball League, the Kemptville Men's Fastball League. He was also a member of the Kemptville Thunder  Intermediate team and earned a provincial title as a member of the Kemptville team which won the Ontario Amateur Softball Association Peewee "B" title back in 1990. That team was inducted into the Kemptville & District Sports Hall of Fame.

Mike was also a hockey player, with 283 games at the Junior A level with the Smiths Falls Bears.
