Royals advance to Final in Shawville

The first seed Royals, a team which has only lost one game all year, advance to the Shawville Men's Fastpitch League final with a 9-2 victory over the Athletics on Tuesday night.

Adam Rueckwald had the win, while Todd Hearty took the loss with relief from Ralph Horner.

The game was tied 2-2 after four innings but a few errors followed by some key hits helped the Royals score seven in the top of the fifth.

The Royals will advance to play the Twins who have won both their playoff games so far this post season. The game is scheduled for Monday September 11 at 7 p.m.
