Stompers 4-0 at Nationals
The Niagara Stompers stayed undefeated at the Men's Canadian Championship in Surrey, BC with two wins on Thursday.
The first game of the day was a 7-0 win over the Saskatoon Angels. Brad Pender walked and scored a run. Joran Graham also earned a walk. Matt Greer was 1-2 with a walk and scored a run.
The later game saw Niagara defeat the East Hants, NS Shooter's Grill Mastodons 4-1. Brad Pender was 1-2 with a double in this one.
Next up are two final pool play games before the weekend playoff round: Steveston, BC Canadians at 5 p.m. EDT and the defending champions Galway Hitmen from Newfoundland and Labrador at 9 p.m. EDT.
